“MyTradiesApp” (hereinafter referred to as “the App”) is developed and operated by Higher Development (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, as well as the clients and contacts whose information is processed through the App.
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data, depending on whether you use the App offline or sign up for our premium cloud services.
If you actively choose to sign up for our premium cloud services to backup and synchronize your database, we hold account and billing information on our secure servers (mytradiesapp.com).
The data we hold is strictly limited to: * Your Username * Your Password Hash (stored securely and never in plain text) * Billing Information required to process payments and charge for our services (e.g., subscription details and billing contact info).
To enable backup and multi-device access under your paid account, the App synchronizes the business databases you manage in the App with our secure servers: * Customer Contacts: Names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and notes. * Buildings & Jobs: Site addresses, postcodes, site contacts, navigational coordinates, access details, and job descriptions. * Inventory: Parts specifications, stock quantities, cost/sell pricing, container tracking, and printing logs.
The App requests the following permissions strictly to perform local device tasks: * CAMERA: Used only to capture photos/images (such as site details or equipment parts) directly inside the App. * BLUETOOTH / BLUETOOTH_ADMIN: Used strictly to connect to and print barcode labels or job receipts on local Bluetooth-enabled thermal printers. * INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to connect to Google AdMob (for the free version) and to sync database records with our servers (only if you have signed up for a paid account).
We respect your privacy and never sell, trade, or share your business data or personal details with third parties. * Advertising (AdMob): The App serves advertisements via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID) and general location data to display relevant ads. You can review Google?s Privacy Policy for details.
We do not retain your data indefinitely.
We employ secure hashing protocols for passwords and SSL/HTTPS encryption for all data synchronized between your device and our servers. While we take commercial-grade measures to secure your accounts, no method of digital storage or internet transmission is 100% secure.
The App is designed for professional commercial use by tradespersons and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to remain compliant with regulatory changes and app store requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
